“Summer’s best shoe has made its way to Wax.” With that simple introduction, Wax London welcomes Sabah to its curated menswear offering, bringing the cult leather footwear brand into both its online store and Covent Garden location.
Shoppers will find three distinct colourways on the shelves and online: Fort Worth Brown Leather, Glove Black Leather, and Rust Suede. The first two act as dependable everyday options, designed to slot seamlessly into a modern wardrobe. The Fort Worth Brown Leather and Glove Black Leather are described as “clean, versatile, and the sort of thing you'll reach for without thinking,” underscoring their role as everyday workhorses built for constant wear.
The standout release, however, is the Rust Suede. Exclusive to Wax London, it carries a more expressive tone while remaining rooted in the same understated silhouette. “And finally, one we’re really excited about the Rust Suede. A Wax exclusive colourway, and honestly, it might be our favourite thing in the building right now.” It is a statement piece within a collection otherwise defined by quiet versatility.

Sabah has built its reputation on craftsmanship and longevity, producing footwear that sits somewhere between slipper and shoe, shaped by traditional construction techniques and a focus on natural materials. Handcrafted in Gaziantep in Southeast Turkey, Sabah shoes are made using time-honoured methods that prioritise hand-stitching and careful material selection, resulting in footwear that evolves with the wearer.
Each pair is made from drum-dyed, full-grain leathers, including specially tanned water buffalo and bull leather soles. Rather than wearing out, Sabahs are designed to wear in. The leather softens, stretches and gradually conforms to the foot, creating a personalised fit over time. This “wear-in, not out” philosophy has helped the brand cultivate a loyal following across menswear communities worldwide.
The construction process is deliberately slow and highly skilled. Sabah works with generational craftspeople trained in hand-stitched shoe construction techniques that are increasingly rare. Every pair is made one at a time in workshops across Southeast Turkey and West Texas, reinforcing the brand’s emphasis on artisanal production over mass manufacturing.

Durability is also built into the design. Each shoe is finished with a protective rubber outsole that can be replaced by a local cobbler, extending the life of the footwear and supporting long-term wear. Inside, a water buffalo leather footbed gradually moulds to the shape of the wearer’s foot, enhancing comfort with continued use.
The arrival at Wax London reflects Sabah’s growing presence in carefully selected retail spaces. “Get acquainted online and in store at Covent Garden,” the announcement invites, positioning the collection as both an in-person and digital discovery.
Available now, the collection brings together Sabah’s established craftsmanship with Wax London’s contemporary menswear curation. Whether it’s the everyday ease of the black and brown leather styles or the exclusivity of the Rust Suede, the release offers a concise snapshot of what has made Sabah a quietly influential name in modern footwear.
