Swedish lifestyle brand Arket has partnered with London-based fashion tech platform SOJO to introduce an in-store and online garment repair and alterations service, launching today. Customers across the UK can book door-to-door repairs online via Arket’s website, while those in London can access in-store drop-off and pick-up services at the Regent Street and Covent Garden stores.

SOJO, a B-Corp Certified platform founded in 2021, has quickly gained recognition as the UK’s first dedicated clothing repair and alterations app. The company offers integrated solutions for fashion brands to reduce returns and extend the lifespan of garments. SOJO’s recent collaborations include a partnership with Marks & Spencer, launching the ‘M&S Fixed by SOJO’ hub last summer.

Under the new initiative with Arket, repairs and alterations will be carried out at SOJO’s East London studio, with completed items either delivered to customers’ homes or made available for in-store collection. Prices for the service start at £5.

Ella Soccorsi, Head of Design & Creative at Arket, emphasised the brand’s commitment to long-lasting fashion, stating: "Our design philosophy focuses on longevity and versatility – creating garments that stand the test of time. Mending or alterations may be part of this journey, and we hope that our collaboration with SOJO can inspire customers to repair and customise their cherished Arket pieces instead of replacing them."

SOJO’s founder and CEO, Josephine Philips, highlighted the alignment between the two brands, saying: "We are so excited to be partnering with Arket to bring a repair and alterations service to their customers. Arket stores have always been locations for more than buying clothes. Since launch, they have prioritised a lifestyle offer and enhanced customer experience."

With growing consumer interest in sustainability and circular fashion, the collaboration reflects an increasing demand for services that promote garment longevity. By integrating repairs and alterations into its offering, Arket is furthering its commitment to responsible fashion while providing customers with practical solutions to extend the life of their wardrobes.
