Wax London, the contemporary British menswear brand, has opened its first store outside of the capital, launching within the historic Victoria Quarter in Leeds. The 2,392 sq ft store sits alongside British heritage names including Barbour and Mulberry, marking an exciting new chapter in the brand’s national expansion.
Designed to bring the brand’s ethos of craft, character, and detail to life, the new store offers customers a space where design and quality take centre stage. Every aspect has been carefully considered to reflect Wax London’s approach to contemporary menswear and its dedication to longevity and authenticity.

Roger Wightman, Managing Director at Wax London, said the opening was a milestone moment for the brand. “We’re so excited to be opening our first store outside of London,” he explained. “Leeds is a key destination area for us, and we are ever so pleased with the space. Every detail of the store has been carefully considered to reflect who we are as a brand – from the materials and finishes to the atmosphere we’ve created. It’s a place where people can experience the essence of Wax London, brought to life through design, quality, and craft.”
That philosophy is reflected in the interiors, which celebrate the brand’s appreciation for materials and craftsmanship. Vintage oak Drapers’ tables with reclaimed storage drawers embody Wax’s sustainable mindset, while aged brass shelving units and marble display plinths highlight its diverse use of textures and fabrics. Custom Wax London fabric curtains in the fitting rooms add a personal, tactile detail, complemented by oversized mirrors and oak-framed campaign photography that immerse customers in the world of Wax London.

Alongside its full menswear range, the store also offers accessories and footwear, creating a complete lifestyle experience for visitors.
Rachel Bradburn, Head of Leasing at Redical, the owner and operator of Victoria Leeds, said the arrival of Wax London further strengthens the destination’s premium menswear offering. “Wax London is the latest in a long line of exceptional brands to call Victoria Leeds the home of its first store outside of London,” she said. “Marking a pivotal point in the brand’s expansion, Wax London’s northern debut adds even more vibrancy and choice to our historic Victoria Quarter, building on our growing premium menswear offer.”
Founded in 2015, Wax London was born out of a desire to make clothes with character, combining British heritage influences with fabrics and craftsmanship sourced from sustainable mills and skilled partners. With its first store beyond the capital now open, the brand continues to expand its presence while staying true to its mission of creating timeless, characterful clothing designed to be worn and re-worn.
