Circulose has announced a strategic partnership with global fashion brand Mango, marking a significant step in building circularity at scale in the fashion industry. Mango becomes the first Scaling Partner to join Circulose since the company’s restart, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable innovation and reduced environmental impact.
The collaboration supports Mango’s long-term goal of shifting towards a circular model, with a strong focus on minimising its use of virgin fibres. Through the adoption of CIRCULOSE®—a next-generation material made entirely from discarded textiles—the fashion brand aims to integrate circular materials into a meaningful share of its man-made cellulosic fibre (MMCF) use.
CIRCULOSE® is a high-quality regenerated material created from 100% textile waste. It enables brands to meet both environmental goals and product performance standards, offering a viable alternative to conventional inputs.
“We’re proud to partner with the forward-thinking brand Mango and support their high ambitions in circularity. Their strong commitment brings us one step closer to restarting the factory and sets a powerful example for the industry. We hope it will inspire other brands to follow their lead,” said Jonatan Janmark, CEO of Circulose.
Mango echoes this ambition as it becomes the first brand to embrace Circulose’s revitalised commercial model. “We’re proud to be the first brand to partner in Circulose’s new phase and look forward to working closely together to advance our shared circularity goal,” said Andrés Fernández, Sustainability and Sourcing Director at Mango. “This collaboration marks a significant step on our sustainability roadmap as we strive to exclusively use fibres with lower environmental impact by 2030 and reflects our commitment to fostering a more circular and responsible fashion ecosystem, where innovation and environmental stewardship go hand in hand.”
The partnership is part of Circulose’s updated commercial strategy, which includes an innovative licensing model developed with Fashion for Good and Canopy. This model is designed to remove pricing barriers and scale adoption beyond limited capsule collections. Licensing CIRCULOSE® also provides access to tailored support services such as transition planning, supply chain coordination, and traceability tools.
With this new approach and Mango’s early leadership, Circulose is positioned to drive significant industry change—proving that circular fashion at scale is not only possible, but already underway.
