Created entirely from pre-loved denim and laser-etched in-house as a lower-impact alternative to printing, the bag embodies the brand’s circular fashion ethos — turning discarded fabrics into one-of-a-kind, collectible shoppers.

Each Beyond Retro location will stock an exclusive Pennate Bag design that celebrates its home city, replacing the throwaway nature of mass-produced souvenirs with thoughtful, sustainable alternatives. The collection will span London, Brighton, Bristol, and Cambridge in the UK, alongside Helsinki, Göteborg and Stockholm in the Nordics, as well as the retailer’s other store communities.

Crafted in limited runs, no two bags are the same, making each Pennate Bag both a practical essential and a unique statement piece. The design underscores Beyond Retro’s commitment to reducing textile waste while offering customers a creative way to show pride in their favourite city.
